This is 3-axis mill and optionally the 4-th rotational axis can be added, thus forming the 4-axis machining center. Machine work ranges are: X 500mm, Y 300mm and Z 420mm.

The machine has the ability to rotate the work head from -90° to +90°. Work head also has vertical adjustment range of 80 mm. Spindle revolution speed can be varied by using variable frequency drive (VFD) in range from 0 to 6700 RPM. Spindle tool holder is SK30. Rapid feedrate (G0) can be up to 7200 mm/min. Work feedrates up to G0 can be used.

For axis control the following drive and control electronics are used:

• one breakout board IO3-R3 and
• four DC servo drives DCS-3010.
